Are you 11 years or older? Have you never done something with music, but do you want to start singing nów? Especially for you we designed this preliminary phase, in which you can rapidly develop your musical skills. This way you are on the fast track to the group where your peers are in: the concert choirs!
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
12 private lessons, day and time in consultation
After 6 lessons you can already participate in the rehearsals of Choir Class D on Tuesday 17.15-17.55h and Thursday 17.05-17.50h. After two months we will evaluate which group suits you best and where you can join.

EN ROUTE TO MUSICAL INDEPENDENCE
In the concert choirs are children that have been working on their musical skills for years. To make sure you will be just as confident as they are while singing, we designed this preliminary phase, especially for you. We combine individual guidance at your own level with singing together in a group.
You start with private lessons where we pay attention to the development of your voice and to skills like sightreading and music theory that you can apply on sheet music. A lesson is 30 minutes. During the rest of the week you study at home from Jongleren, the practice book with which already thousands of children have learned how to read notes.
After 6 private lessons you can already join the rehearsals of Choir Class D on Tuesdays and Thursdays. In this group may be younger children, but levelwise this fits your experience so far. Here you can show that you are committed, motivated and progressing and that you are working towards participation in The Hague Children's Choir. After two months we evaluate which group suits you best and where you can join.
