Are you 15 years or older? Have you never done something with music, but do you want to start singing nów? Or do you have a base, but is this not yet sufficient to start in Cantamare Vocal Ensemble directly? Especially for you we designed this preliminary phase, in which you can rapidly develop your musical skills. This way you are on the fast track towards a prospect membership of Cantamare!
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
12 private lessons, day and time in consultation
After 6 lessons you can already participate in the rehearsals of Cantamare on Monday 20.00-20.45h.
After two months we will evaluate if you can already join as a prospect member of Cantamare.

EN ROUTE TO MUSICAL INDEPENDENCE
Cantamare Vocal Ensemble is the topensemble of te Academy of Vocal Arts. The choir members that sing here have years of experience in making music together, sightreading and performing. To make sure you will be just as confident as they are while singing, we designed this preliminary phase, especially for you. We combine individual guidance at your own level with singing together in a group.
You start with private lessons where we pay attention to the development of your voice and to skills like sightreading and music theory that you can apply on sheet music. A lesson is 30 minutes. During the rest of the week you study at home from Jongleren, the practice book with which already thousands of youngsters have learned how to read notes.
After 6 private lessons you can already join part of the rehearsal of Cantamare on Monday evening. Here you can show that you progress nicely and you are working towards a full membership. After two months we evaluate the process to see if you can start the prospect membership, that in time will continue as a full membership of Cantamare.
